The Children's Choir is a wonderful free opportunity for your child if they love to sing! We meet once weekly, on Thursdays, from 2:30-3:30 in the music room of St. Timothy School. During our rehearsals we prepare music to sing for 10 o'clock Mass, which we sing for once a month. All the dates of rehearsals and Masses are sent to you, ahead of time, via e-mail. We are understanding if your child is not able to attend every Mass, we just ask that you let us know so we can arrange their seating chart accordingly.

Rehearsals are a time for learning more about how to read music, find understanding in the lyrics, and sing more musically ...and we even have some fun in the process! The 3rd grade students will have an older "buddy" for the first few rehearsals, to help them keep track of where they are in their music. Once they have had a few weeks to practice this, it will get easier and they will be able to do it themselves.

We ask that any child interested in joining the Children's Choir, please attend our first rehearsal which will be on:

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th, from 2:30-3:30.

Please have them bring a quick, easy to eat snack for themselves. They will have about 10 min. to eat it before we start.
