Ways to get involved:
VOLUNTEER
Interested in becoming a “Festival Captain” for 2018?
The Festival Captains have so much fun working together, and they are truly vital to the success of our festival. As a Captain, you will take charge of a single game, food/drink station, or other area. You’ll help with set up and recruit volunteers to man your station during the festival. The Festival Chairman and other “veterans” are always available to help new Captains – from the planning session happy hour in May to the close of the Festival in July. Contact Festival Chairman Joe Lorenz (sttimsfestival@gmail.com) if you’re interested in becoming a Captain for 2018.
BECOME A FESTIVAL SPONSOR
Contact Jim Cetovich
jcetovich@ruscilli.com
Each year, generous parishioners make our Festival possible through their generous contributions. Many levels of sponsorship are available, and all sponsors are recognized on a THANK YOU banner at the Festival.
ADVERTISE AT THE FESTIVAL
Contact Joe Lorenz
sttimsfestival@gmail.com
Local businesses are given the opportunity to advertise at the Festival, gaining exposure while showing support of this great event in our community. Different advertising packages to fit the needs of any business!
SELL RAFFLE TICKETS
Each parish family is asked to sell 50 raffle tickets. Tickets are $1 each, and will be entered in the Festival raffle for three prizes: $1000 Cash Grand Prize, $500 Cash 2nd prize, and $100 Cash 3rd Prize.
Get your tickets:
School families should have received an envelope with 50 tickets in the final courier pack of the year.
Parish families may pick up their ticket allotment in the back of the church.
Need more tickets, or didn’t get yours? Call or email Festival Chairman Joe Lorenz (sttimsfestival@gmail.com, 614-395-2496).
Bring tickets back:
Returning tickets prior to the start of the festival is preferred as this guarantees that the ticket is eligible for ALL prize drawings!
Before the festival: return sold tickets and cash to the parish office or drop in the collection basket at any Mass
At the festival: sold tickets and cash (and any unsold tickets you have) can be turned in at the raffle booth
PUT A SIGN IN YOUR YARD
Help us spread the word about out festival! Yard signs will be available in the back of the church about 6 weeks before the festival. Take one for your house and another for a neighbor or your place of business!
KIDDIE KINGDOM
Kiddie Kingdom is proudly presented by the hard-working students of St. Timothy School. This area of the festival, with games and activities for the little ones, is staffed by students who will be in grades 3 – 5 this fall. Students are assigned shifts, and can trade as needed to accommodate family schedules.
DONATE
BAKED GOODS
Homemade desserts and other baked goods are needed for the bake sale. We’re also seeking cakes for our cake walk. Bakery/dessert boxes (courtesy of parishioner John Cline) are available in the back of the church to make it easier to transport your yummy treats! Take one home, fill it up, and bring it back!
ITEMS FOR SECONDHAND ROSE
Did you know we have a garage sale during the Festival each year, called “Secondhand Rose?” Clean out your basement and your closets! Donate your household items, toys, sports equipment, and collectibles to Secondhand Rose. Start collecting your treasures now, and look for information about dropping off donated items in the weeks leading up to the festival.
